about

In Dzongkha, Gawa signifies joy—a spirit that takes shape as day turns to dusk across the valley. Tucked into a private corner of our main building, Gawa Restaurant is framed in deep forest-green tones and lit softly for evening dining. While Lingka handles the casual rhythm of the day, Gawa opens exclusively for dinner, serving curated seasonal menus that bring elevated Bhutanese recipes alongside international dishes to the table. It is an intimate dining room centered around shared mountain plates, seasonal Paro produce, and evening meals shared over a quiet table.

Curated Dinners & Regional Pairings

Designed for the evening, Gawa’s multi-course menus highlight seasonal Bhutanese produce and regional dishes alongside considered wine pairings. On occasion, the kitchen introduces limited seasonal offerings—including high-altitude caviar, soon to be harvested from cold mountain waters in Bhutan—selected quietly to complement the night's menu.
