about

In Bhutan, Lingka refers to the living custom of gathering outdoors to share a meal, conversation, and leisure under the open sky. Situated within the main building of Zhiwaling Heritage, Lingka Restaurant brings this everyday tradition indoors and out. The dining room features large windows that open directly onto our hand-built wooden cantilever bridge spanning the trout pond. Here, our kitchen serves an all-day menu of local dishes and familiar international favorites, prepared simply to be shared across the table.

Grounded in Paro’s Harvests

Led by our kitchen team, Lingka’s daily menu relies on simple, fresh ingredients from our modest on-site vegetable garden and nearby Paro Valley farms. From daily breakfasts to wholesome curries and international classics, every dish remains rooted in local mountain agriculture.
